Usually, no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The range shown on your dashboard is an estimate, not a fixed number. It can change depending on how and where you drive, how much air conditioning you use, the outside temperature, vehicle load and other conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Electric Range and Combined REEV Range Are Different<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A REEV has both an electric driving range and a much longer combined driving capability supported by its range-extender system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electric range refers to how far the vehicle can travel primarily using energy stored in the battery under the applicable test conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once more energy is required, the range-extender engine can generate electricity to support continued driving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So if your estimated battery-only range decreases during a demanding journey, it does not mean the vehicle suddenly loses its overall long-distance capability in the same way a battery-only EV might approach the end of its available charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This flexibility is one of the main reasons REEV technology can be practical for drivers who combine everyday Dubai commuting with longer journeys across the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
