The iCAUR V27 has won the Best Interior Design Award in the Premium Car category at the 2026 Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA), adding international design recognition to one of iCAUR’s most important new models.
The award puts the spotlight on an area where the V27 takes a slightly different approach. While its exterior is deliberately rugged and boxy, the cabin is much more refined, combining modern technology, practical controls and a spacious layout designed for everyday use.
A Different Side of the iCAUR V27
From the outside, the iCAUR V27 has the proportions you would expect from an adventure-focused SUV: an upright body, strong lines and a purposeful stance.
Step inside, though, and the character changes.
The dashboard has a cleaner, more contemporary layout, with a 15.4-inch central display taking centre stage. An 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation and wireless phone charging add the technology expected in a modern premium SUV.
Importantly, iCAUR has not moved every function onto the touchscreen. Physical controls remain available for frequently used features, which helps make the cabin easier to use while driving.
That combination of digital technology and straightforward usability is one of the details that gives the V27 interior its own identity.
Designed for More Than Appearance
The award is not simply about how the cabin looks.
The V27’s upright shape also creates generous passenger space, while the five-seat layout and flexible rear area make it practical for everyday driving, family use and longer trips.
Depending on the specification, the cabin can also include features such as a panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, a premium audio system and additional comfort features.
The result is an interior that feels much more polished than the rugged exterior might initially suggest.
